Princeton University Press: If You Leave Us Here, We Will Die

Geoffrey Robinson is a professor of history specializing in South and Southeast Asia. From 1989 to 1995 he headed research on Island Southeast Asia at Amnesty International headquarters in London. In 1999 he took leave from UCLA to serve with the United Nations in East Timor. In this video he discusses his most recent book, If You Leave Us Here, We Will Die: How Genocide Was Stopped in East Timor.

Robinson is among the authors who will appear at the 15th annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, held in association with UCLA, on the weekend of April 24-25.
