Glen MacDonald: Learning from past droughts

Geography professor Glen MacDonald specializes in the study of water scarcity. An expert on the effects of global warming and drought on ecosystems, MacDonald is now delving into how these forces affect people and policies. He is also the new director of UCLA's Institute of the Environment, where he envisions lawyers and social scientists sharing ideas with engineers and natural scientists.
