John Duncan: East meets West

John Duncan was a teen-aged G.I. stationed in Korea. After his tour of duty, he became the first U.S. student to enroll in Korea University in Seoul. And the more he learned, the more he fell in love with the culture and history of the country. Today, he heads UCLA's Center for Korean Studies, one of the most important programs outside Korea itself.
