Historians win two Pulitzer Prizes

Saul Friedlander won the Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction for "The Years of Extermination: Nazi Germany and the Jews, 1939-1945." Daniel Walker Howe won the Pulitzer Prize in History for "What Hath God Wrought: The Transformation of America, 1815-1848."
