Accessing UCLA Recreation’s online instructional videos is like having your own personal trainer available 24 hours a day. The free physical fitness tips range from how to maximize your time at the gym to how to get a workout without leaving your desk.

Get a peek into The Den – UCLA’s official student fan group. Check out fan photos and videos, and learn about Dirt from the Den, the newsletter that strives to provide students with information about Bruin opponents – plus “a little dirt to get into their heads.”

Personal Environmental Impact Report

Generate a personal environmental impact report just by downloading software onto a GPS cell phone. UCLA’s Center for Embedded Networked Sensing’s program gives users daily reports on how much smog they produced while driving and how much pollution they inhaled while walking. Want patient-friendly health information? UCLA Health System’s Health Encyclopedia provides the most comprehensive resource available online – free of charge. See more than 11,000 pages of content detailing diseases, symptoms, medical tests, injuries and other common health and medical questions.
Bonus – check out webcasts, where UCLA physicians answer medical questions from people “on the street.”
