The College of Letters and Science Commencement is the largest ceremony of UCLA's Commencement Weekend. Here are the highlights of the June 11 event, from the procession of 99 flags honoring coach John Wooden to the turning of the tassels.
Commencement speaker Gustavo Arellano acknowledged that 2010 graduates are facing some tough times. But he told the audience about a young man who graduated from college in 1932. That young man lost all his money when the local bank failed. But John Wooden still managed to make his life a masterpiece.
