Festival 2001, Film, Television, and Digital Media

It feels like a genetically-engineered (and possibly mutant) combination of audition, sneak preview, underground film festival, Academy Awards night, off-Broadway experiment and crystal-ball seance. In fact, it's Festival 2001, in many ways the most exciting time of the academic year for the students and faculty of UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television.

If you've ever wondered what goes on in the School's classrooms, sound stages and editing rooms, Festival 2001 is your chance to see for yourself. From opening night festivities on June 8 to closing night screenings on June 15, Festival 2001 celebrates a full range of student work: acting, animation, digital media, film and screenwriting. Some of these students will move on to careers in Hollywood; others may define new art forms, even new industries.
