University, as in "universe"

There's a great big world in here. And what better time than Welcome Week to explore the campus and meet your fellow Bruins?

Even if you're a returning student, there are new people, activities and opportunities to discover.

On Sept. 21 is Bruin Bash: concert, dance and midnight movie. (Free, but remember to get a wristband in advance!)

On Sept. 22 is the Enormous Activities Fair, your chance to check out hundreds of student groups and campus departments. (And gather a bag of swag while you're looking.)

Classes start Thursday, Sept. 25. But Welcome Week will give you a head start on some of the learning that takes place outside the classroom.
