9/11 Commemoration

Sept. 11 Commemoration on Campus

To mark the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, a gathering will be held at noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2002, on Dickson Plaza in front of Royce Hall. Chancellor Albert Carnesale will make opening remarks, followed by music from the UCLA Brass Quintet. All faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends and community members are invited to attend.

Candlelight Vigil: UCLA students will gather at the Bruin Statue on Westwood Plaza (Bruin Plaza) from 7 to 9 p.m.

Many local communities, churches and civic groups are commemorating 9/11.
