Tiananmen Square protester earns Ph.D.

The 1989 Tiananmen Square protest forever changed the life of Chaohua Wang. One of only two women on the list of 21 most-wanted student leaders, Wang would eventually flee China for the U.S. Now, 20 years later, she has earned her Ph.D. in Asian Languages and Cultures from UCLA.
