Marwa Kaisey: from Iraq to student body president of UCLA

At least one out of every four UCLA undergraduates was born outside the U.S. Student body president Marwa Kaisey is one of these "Upward Bound" students: her family fled Iraq. She is the first Arab and the first Muslim to be elected student body president.

". . . I consider myself an honorary member of all the groups," she told UCLA Magazine reporter Kristine Breese.
